Housing needs

Having an unstable housing situation can be a time of great fear. Maybe you have a place to stay today, but you’re not sure what tomorrow will look like, or maybe even today is uncertain. You might be caring for family members or worrying where your children will sleep. Your concerns for safety, stability, and a home are real and understandable, as those are things that all of us look for.

It might be hard to imagine, but Jesus understands your fears better than anyone else. The Bible tells us that even Jesus had times when he didn’t have a home (Matthew 8:20). He went through rejection, sorrow, and loneliness. He wants to have a relationship with you and fill you with His joy and peace even when tomorrow is uncertain.

We at Link2Hope are motivated by our love for God and His love for us. We want you to know Him and experience His love. We also want to serve you by helping connect you to resources to help you with your housing needs. Here in Roanoke, there are various organizations that help people with rent and mortgage assistance, securing housing, offering temporary housing, and even in home-buying. We encourage you to search in Link2Hope for housing resources and providers and reach out to them for assistance. Talk to your advocate and inner circle, as well.

May God bless you and keep you.
